　　学校概况：
　　马凯特大学Marquette University（简称MU）是一所四年制私立天主教大学，成立于1881年，获《美国新闻与世界报道》评为二级国家级大学，全美学术排名《Academic Reputation Ranking》第107，《纽约时报大学指南》则给予它三颗星的学术评分。该校会派员参加在香港举行的“美国大学教育展览”，颇受香港学生欢迎纷纷申请入读。
　　据《耶鲁大学日报大学指南》折出，马凯特大学Marquette University的各学院和学科的入学标准都不同，其中以举国知名的物理治疗科的选拔最为严谨，学生则认为最佳课程是商科、历史、护理和牙科。工科近年来逐渐受学生欢迎，“合作课程”尤其获得好评。还有，大众传播学亦办得很好，尤以广告、公共关系、广播及电子传媒为然。最多学生修读的学科，依次是商科管理（17%）、工程（15%）、大众传播（14%）、社会科学（9朴）、健康科学（8%）。第一年新生有43%获奖学金，平均每人约3000美元，海外生虽较难取得，但并非无机会。
