22日赶到上海，下午4点左右去签证处察看一下地形，顺便和看门的大叔聊了聊，了解一下情况。

23日上午，早上4点多就醒了，紧张，睡不着。一直靠到6点半起来，酒店的免费早餐，全浪费了，就喝了一点粥。还没到签证处肚子已经饿得不行了。

8点差5分赶到，已经有不少人了，赶紧排队，一数，自己是第13个。这是看门的大叔过来了，因为昨天聊过，面熟，就把我叫到了前边，还没明白过来，大叔过来把我塞进了第3个。我想这倒好，今天我把“3”占全了。23号，来时排13号，现在又换到了3号。到时候来的事实说明我应该感谢这位大叔，因为先交的材料，然后签的早，就不用在那个令人窒息的环境中焦急地等待了。再次感谢看门大叔！

8点半准时开门，然后就是依次领个号牌，然后就是查电码，订照片。（建议先做完这些）等待交材料。50左右，我们1-5号交材料，交代一下，前两个是男生，我后面两个是女生，其中第5个好象是中介公司的。交材料很慢的，然后是6--10号。又是焦急地等待。然后11--15号交材料（很慢）。这时开始面试了，第一个叫到的是我后面的4号女生，她去了3号窗口，被问了很多问题，她在里边说话的声音都能很清楚地听见，感觉英语说得挺不错的（搞得自己又是一阵心慌，因为觉得自己英语不行啊！）。一直问了差不多有20分钟，她出来了，面无表情，又是引起一阵猜疑。这时叫到2号去了4号窗口。

焦急中，感觉腿有点发抖。这时听见叫到我了，又是3号窗口。赶紧拿着东西过去了。女签证官和面无表情的女翻译。问好，然后开始。其实大多是常规的问题，但是很多，方方面面的都有，一直问了能有15分钟多（从9点30开始到9点45多了），而且在资金的问题上差一点卡住，可恨的翻译，根本就不听我的解释，态度蛮横。不过最后签证官还是给我签证了，高兴！这是好像11--15好还没有交完材料！我就赶紧离开了那个令人窒息的地方。

下午2点来拿签证，我们前4个都获签（事实，不像有人说的前3个没过）。一直等到2点40多，才拿到护照，然后和那几个朋友交换了联系方式，走人了。想想这一年的多的准备确有这15分钟来判定生死，真是唏嘘不已啊。

Study Plan

I am a student who has graduated from *******University in china . I decide to study at the University of Manchester for one year to get a master’s degree of International Business Law, from September, 2003 to September, 2004.

As far as I knew that the University of Manchester is one of the leading universities in UK, and I also heard of that the School of Law was confirmed as one of the United Kingdom’s top Law Schools for the excellence of its research. The University of Manchester is also an international institution where students are from many parts of the world. I believe that I can benefit a great deal of useful knowledge from the University of Manchester and gain two things for sure: the wonderful experience in a beautiful and friendly country and most importantly, an invaluable, world-class education.

First of all, I will take part in a 12-week English Language course. After three months of the study, I believe that I will improve my English fluency with the aim to communicate with my classmates and staff easily.

Then I will study law course for one year with the period from 2003 to 2004 to get a full-time master degree. I plan to study International Business Law, including International Economic Law, Private Law of International Trade, European Business Law, Conflict of Laws in Business and Commerce, International Fiscal Law, European Competition Law, etc. I will study hard and I wish the one-year study in UK would be the turning point in my life.

After I get the master degree, I will come back to China. Because I specially want to be a lawyer in China and the fast speed of china’s law development creates innumerable challenges and opportunities for young people, but the opportunity especially favors the person with preparation.

The one-year study in UK will give me the capital of accepting challenges and becoming an international lawyer with high performance. Not only I can get a master degree, but also the new methods of business law, which is beneficial for future development in China. I think that the qualification and exercise I gained through my study in UK will offer me a unique chance to lay an outstanding role in Business Management in China. I wish my dream would come true.

我：我有一个历史纪录，。...
翻译扔给我一支笔，不耐烦的说：你把30万给我画出来！
我：（呆了一下）这里只有一部分
翻译：有多少？
我：8万
翻译：你的资金存期只有6个月，我们要求是1年，你能不能补充一年的历史？
我一听，心都凉了！心想他要是要求我补充存款的一年的历史纪录，我上哪去弄阿？那一刹那，感觉真的有点天昏地暗啊！于是我一咬牙，
我：我的却没有一年的历史，因为我从你们的网站上看到只要3--6月的存款历史就可以了，于是我从那时开始准备资金的！。。。。（又把我爸妈的收入情况说了说，解释30万的来源）
翻译没再和我说什么了，转而向vo说话。vo又在电脑上记录什么。
(谈话继续！）
vo:你说的这些都真实吗？
我：yes
vo:你对我们的翻译满意吗？
我：sure!（转向翻译，违心的说：thank you very much!真想一口咬死她！）
vo:你还有什么要说的吗？
我：I am looking forward to studying in the Un of manchester. Thank you,thank you veru much for this interview.
就看见两人相视一下，互点一下头，然后就见那个翻译转手拿了一张绿色的小纸片，写点什么，面无表情的和我说：下午2点来去护照！
我：thank you!thank you very much!
赶紧拿起东西走人！离开这个令人窒息的地方，打电话回家报喜啊！
