　　Liberty University 利伯缇大学由Dr. Jerry Falwell创建于1971年，为私立四年制基督大学，设有研究所。学校位在维吉尼亚州正中心-Lynchburg，城市人口约为68,000。城市有200年之久，是个拥有历史、美景及人文教育，有着美丽小溪及湖泊。靠近美国华府Washington D.C.。目前学校有超过14,000个学生，来至50州及80个国家。学生与教职员比例为21：1，平均一班人数20。
　　学校设备完善，有可容纳12,000人的足球馆、10,000座大礼堂及大操场。体育项目男子有棒球、篮球、足球、田径、体操、高尔夫球、网球队等；女子有排球、篮球、垒球、足球、田径、网球队。除此之外，设有冰上曲棍球、长曲棍球、飞盘竞赛社等。新完成的学校宿舍为公寓式建筑，一房设三间寝室，二人一房，独立浴室，并有客厅、厨房、洗衣室及健身房等。
